From Old to Amazing. See How She Transformed Her Inherited One-Bedroom Apartment!

A young woman inherited a one-bedroom apartment in an aging building that was in dire condition. With outdated wallpaper, damaged linoleum, and old plumbing, the apartment was far from livable. Instead of selling it, she decided to renovate the space completely, aiming to preserve its historical charm and honor her family’s legacy.

Here’s a look at the apartment before the transformation: The entire space spans 37 sq.m, with the main room measuring 19 sq.m and the kitchen at 9 sq.m. The first step in the renovation was enlisting the help of a designer to create new floor plans and bring her vision to life.

To make the most of the space, the living area was divided with a partition to create a cozy bedroom, with a sliding door to save on space. The bedroom also includes a closet and features wallpaper with a pop of color to evoke a warm, inviting atmosphere.

The custom kitchen was designed in a simple, modern style. The dining area still features the original table and chairs, adding a nostalgic vintage touch to the space. The bathroom and toilet received a modern upgrade with new plumbing, though they remained separate for added functionality and comfort.
